Association Between Immune Cell Neurotrophins Levels And Subcortical Grey Matter Volume In Multiple Sclerosis Patients (P4.144)

Conclusions: In MS PBMC-derived beta-NGF is positively associated with regional volume of left amygdala. This was not reproduced using a different segmentation approach. It remains to be established whether this association is specific for MS. We did not identify other correlations between neurotrophin levels and basal ganglia volumes. However, longitudinal volume change might still be associated with neurotrophin levels.
