Influence Of Sex Hormone Ratios On The Clinical Course Of Multiple Sclerosis: A Case Study After The First Year Of Follow Up. (P4.162)

CONCLUSIONS:The longitudinal ability of Testo/E2 to predict 9HPTDH seems stronger than its contemporal ability on the same clinical subscale (16% vs 11% respectively). This maybe explained by the fact that within time the actual Testo/E2 ratio slightly increased in our sample. Hence a shift to a more “androgenic” hormonal profile may reduce the contemporal predictive ability of Testo/E2 hormonal ratio.Further follow up of the patients will allow us to examine the ability to predict the timeframe when MS progresses from relapsing remit to progressive forms due to a change in the predictive capability of the hormonal ratio in the clinical function.Disclosure: Dr. Kitsos has nothing to disclose.
